Description of Therapy Services

  • Life can feel overwhelming and sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is ask for support.

At Inspire Psychology, individual therapy is a collaborative process built around you. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, a major life transition, relationship challenges, identity, or something you're still finding the words for, therapy offers a dedicated space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Dr. Marshall works with both adolescents and adults, recognizing that the challenges of being a teenager and the demands of adult life each come with their own unique pressures. Regardless of where you are in life, you deserve care that takes your experience seriously. That is why Dr. Marshall does not use a one-size-fits-all approach, but instead tailors each treatment plan and session to your individual needs.

  • For many people, executive functioning challenges don't exist in a vacuum. They often show up tangled together with anxiety, low mood, and the weight of everyday stress. When getting started feels impossible, follow-through keeps slipping, and your to-do list becomes a source of dread rather than direction, something more than a standard therapy session is needed.

Executive functioning support sessions are 50-minute individual sessions offered on a recurring basis for adolescents and adults. Each session balances the practical and the emotional — building real skills around planning, organization, time management, and follow-through, while also addressing the anxiety, depression, and mental health stressors that so often get in the way of using those skills in the first place.

This isn't about trying harder. It's about understanding how your brain works, identifying what's actually getting in the way, and building a personalized approach that accounts for the whole picture — not just the productivity piece.

A good fit if you're navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, or simply finding that life's demands feel harder to manage than they should and you're ready for consistent, individualized support to help you move forward.

  • Families are complicated and that's not a flaw, it's just the reality of people who love each other trying to navigate life together. When communication breaks down, conflict escalates, or one family member is struggling, it affects everyone. Family therapy is a space to address those dynamics openly, with the support of a trained professional who can help facilitate honest conversation and meaningful change.

At Inspire Psychology, family therapy is grounded in the belief that lasting change within a family system happens when each person feels heard - not judged or blamed, but genuinely understood. Our role is not to take sides or assign fault, but to help your family identify patterns, improve communication, and build the tools to navigate challenges together.

Family therapy may be a good fit if your family is experiencing:

    • Communication breakdowns or ongoing conflict

    • Difficulty supporting a child or teen who is struggling emotionally or behaviorally

    • Navigating a major transition such as divorce, relocation, loss, or a new family structure

    • Disconnection or distance between family members

    What to expect

Sessions are collaborative and structured, with space for each family member to share their perspective. We draw on evidence-based approaches to help your family move from conflict and disconnection toward greater understanding and connection.

Every family has its own language, history, and strengths. Our goal is to help you find your way back to each other and move forward, together.

    $345/60min

Family sessions can be scheduled for 50 up to 90 minutes depending upon clinical appropriateness.

  • CBT is a skills-based approach, which means real change happens when there's time to slow down, examine the patterns, and actually practice thinking and responding differently.

A CBT intensive is a single, focused 90-minute session designed to go deeper than a standard appointment allows.

In the first part of the session, we dig into what's been getting in the way. We explore your thought patterns, identify what's keeping you stuck, and set a clear focus for our time together.

In the second part, we build and practice the skills most relevant to you, so that when the hard moments come, you're not starting from scratch.

This format is especially helpful if you're navigating anxiety, low mood, or unhelpful thought cycles that feel hard to break.

    $325 per 60min

  • DBT is a skills-based approach, which means the learning only sticks when there's time to actually practice it.

A DBT intensive is a two-session experience. Each session runs 90 minutes to 2 hours, scheduled close together.

In the first session, we dig into what has brought you to this intensive. We explore, set goals, and identify the skills that will be most beneficial to your growth.

In the second session, we build those skills, practice them together so you feel ready when you need them, and plan ahead for anticipated challenges.

This format is especially helpful if you're navigating intense emotions, relationship patterns that feel hard to break, or moments where you know what you're "supposed" to do but struggle to use the skill in the moment.

Two sessions. Real skills. Something you can actually use.

  • ADHD doesn't come with a one-size-fits-all manual and executive functioning challenges look different for everyone.

An ADHD intensive creates dedicated time to figure out what's actually getting in the way and build strategies that work for your brain specifically.

An ADHD intensive is a two-session experience. Each session runs 90 minutes to 2 hours, scheduled close together.

In the first session, we dig into what has brought you to this intensive. We explore how executive functioning challenges are showing up in your daily life, set goals, and identify the skills and strategies that will make the biggest difference for you.

In the second session, we build those strategies, practice them together so they feel realistic and usable, and plan ahead for the situations where you know things tend to fall apart.

This format is especially helpful if you're struggling with planning, time management, follow-through, or getting started on things that feel overwhelming and you're ready to stop white-knuckling it and actually build a system that works.

Two sessions. Real strategies. Built around your brain.

  • Being a teenager with ADHD can feel like everyone else got a manual you never received. The way your brain works isn't a flaw — but it does mean you need different tools, a different roadmap, and people around you who actually get it.

This 8-week virtual group is designed specifically for teens with ADHD. It is a space to better understand how your brain works, build real strategies for the challenges that come up most, and connect with peers who share similar experiences.

Over eight weeks, group members explore:

    • How ADHD actually shows up in school, at home, and in relationships

    • Executive function skills: planning, organization, time management, and getting started on things that feel impossible

    • Emotional regulation: managing frustration, overwhelm, and the feelings that come fast and hit hard

    • Social skills & relationships: navigating friendships, conflict, and communication

    • Self-understanding: building a strengths-based identity as a neurodivergent person

Groups are offered for younger teens (ages 12–15) and older teens (ages 16–17) so that the conversations, examples, and skills stay relevant to where you actually are in life.

This group is a good fit if your teen has an ADHD diagnosis (or suspected ADHD) and is ready to learn alongside peers in a supportive, affirming environment.
